About us

Here’s the inside scoop: We’re a small company.  We’re almost all women under the age of forty.   We didn’t plan that; it just sort of happened that way four years ago when the guys who founded the theatre retired.    No one gets paid, so we all have other jobs.  We have young children who play around our feet as we rehearse.   It’s messy.  It’s chaotic.  It’s fun.  It’s hard work.  It’s born out of love.

It’s theatre.

We recently lost our storefront theatre on Main Street, North Adams, Massachusetts, and are in the process of redefining ourselves as a touring company, a theatre for the community rather than a community theatre.  Stay tuned to the blog to watch it unfold.
